A well-functioning cybersecurity innovation ecosystem is a means to guarantee the development of solutions that help to predict, prevent and respond to cyber-attacks. Against this background and considering that the emergence of an ecosystem is a co-creative process in which different activities play significant role, VTT and ASEAN partners held workshops with relevant stakeholders in the ASEAN region to strengthen a common vision for the cybersecurity innovation ecosystem and identify steps in achieving this vision.

31 January 2019 - YAKSHA’s Business Model Workshop

As a next step to improve the resilience of the cybersecurity ecosystem in ASEAN, and to create the grounds for the commercialisation of the YAKSHA tool, the YAKSHA Cybersecurity Business Model Workshop will be held on 31 January 2019 in Brussels. The workshop takes stoke of the results of the YAKSHA Cybersecurity Innovation Ecosystem Co-creation Workshops carried out in ASEAN. Its aim is to create shared business vision and business scenarios for different YAKSHA stakeholders. These business models will be analysed by relevant stakeholders from government, industry and end-user associations both in the EU and ASEAN. The operational scenarios and business model for cybersecurity software will be influenced by the evolution of the enterprise infrastructure from LAN to SDN. Since the evolution process will take place step by step, there are cybersecurity issues to be addressed in the roadmap. The selected business model will be deployed in the commercialisation of the software solution and relevant activities of the project. Detailed agenda of the program will be released later. In a glance, the structure of YAKSHA Cybersecurity Business Model is represented below.
