NSFC / RGC Joint Research Scheme
   
   

The scheme aims to promote collaboration between researchers/research teams in Hong Kong and the Mainland on the basis of complementing existing strengths of both sides. The Scheme supports research proposals jointly submitted by the Mainland and the Hong Kong researchers. The six focus areas under the Scheme are: Information Technology; Life Science; New Materials Science; Marine and Environmental Science; Medicine; and Management Science.

China Scholarship Council: Call For 2014 Doctoral Scholarships
   
   

The University of Leeds is offering around ten slots of China Scholarship Council-University of Leeds Scholarships, which are available for excellent international students who will be commencing PhD research study from October 2014/15 for study in any Faculty at the University of Leeds.

    Generally speaking, the applicant will be required to fill in a standard application form designated by the national agency managing the programme, and submit it with the required documents to the secretariat of the national agency or a host organization of the funding programme.

1. Parallel submissions of both initial and formal applications by the Hong Kong and the Mainland applicants are required
2. Hong Kong applications should be submitted to the RGC through respective institutions.
3. Mainland applications are to be submitted to the Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs Office of the NSFC.
