NSFC ‐NERC and MRC Joint Research Program

   
   

The NERC and the Medical Research Council (MRC) in the UK (with input from the Newton Fund) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) are investing in a strategic research programme on urban air pollution in the megacity Beijing and impacts on health. NERC, MRC and NSFC are inviting Expression of Interest applications for a call under this programme.

The deadline for application is March 6th, 2015

Chinese Government Scholarship-Great Wall Program
   
   

Chinese Government Scholarship—Great Wall Program is a full scholarship established by MOE for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to sponsor students and scholars in developing countries to study and research in China.

Applicants shall apply to the National Commission for UNESCO in their home countries between January and early April.

CAS-EU Partner Programme
   
   

The Chinese Academy of Sciences has announced the launch of a special CAS-EU Partner Programme with the aim to strengthen the strategic S&T cooperation between the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the EU in the frame of the EU's Research and Innovation Framework Programme Horizon 2020. CAS institutes and other CAS entities that are part of an already successfully approved Horizon 2020 project can apply to obtain financial support for their work in the Horizon 2020 project.

The deadline for applying to the Partner Programme is March 2nd, 2015.

    Generally speaking, the applicant will be required to fill in a standard application form designated by the national agency managing the programme, and submit it with the required documents to the secretariat of the national agency or a host organization of the funding programme.

3. For the UK partners, this call is restricted to UK-based researchers normally eligible for funding from NERC

Chinese Government Scholarship-Great Wall Program
   
   

1. Applicants consult the National Commission for UNESCO in their home countries for the details and requirements of Great Wall Program and submit the application as required.
2. Once recommended by the UNESCO, candidates shall contact the target university for Admission Letter.
3. Recommended candidates must finish the online application procedure at CSC Online Application System for International Students. Please go to www.csc.edu.cn/laihua or www.campuschina.org and click Application Online for International Students, complete the required information, submit the completed Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship online and print a hard copy.
