Samenwerking China - Hé Programme of Innovation Cooperation

   
   

The Hé Programme of Innovation Cooperation aims at realizing Sino-Dutch research projects, where academic and industrial researchers in both countries collaborate. Within the Netherlands, the research themes to be addressed have to fit the ICT Roadmap of the Top sector High Tech Systems and Materials (HTSM) or the Chemistry Innovation Contract of the Top sector Chemistry. For China the priorities are LED, semiconductors, sustainable new materials, quality of health care, production and safety of food. Sino-Dutch teams can apply for a project with a duration of 2 to 3 years (Chinese side) or maximum 4 years (Dutch side), carried out in the form of science-industry cooperation. Application deadline is 30 April, 2013, while that in Netherlands is 02 May, 2013.

2013 China-Portugal Joint Advanced-Material Innovation Centre Programme
   
   

To promote the cooperation and industrialization of advanced material between China and Portugal, China Ministry of Science and Technology and Portugal Ministry of Education and Science jointly launched the call for 2013 China-Portugal Joint Advanced-Material Innovation Centre Programme. The priority areas are biomedical materials, nanotechnology and nanomaterials, sustainable materials and materials for energy. At most three projects will be supported. Application deadline is 03 May in China.

    Generally speaking, the applicant will be required to fill in a standard application form designated by the national agency managing the programme, and submit it with the required documents to the secretariat of the national agency or a host organization of the funding programme.

Senior researchers at academic institutions can apply for joint Sino-Dutch science industry research and innovation projects. At least four parties participate in a project:
1) one Chinese industry partner;
2) one Dutch industry partner;
3) a Chinese academic research institution;
4) a Dutch academic research institution.

The application should be made both to MoST, China and NOW, Netherlands. The project name, the applicants’ names and the partners should be the same in the applications to MoST and NWO.
