Innovation and Technology Support Programme (ITSP) |
|
|
|
|
ITSP supports midstream/downstream research and development (R&D) projects undertaken mainly by universities, R&D Centres, industry support organisations, professional bodies and trade and industry associations. ITSP invites applications for funding every six months or so. The Government adopts a three-tier funding framework for ITSP under the ITF. Tier 2 involves the funding of applied R&D projects which are industry-oriented and have potential for commercialisation. Tier 3 involves the funding of exploratory and forward-looking projects. The first round of funding applications for 2016 under Tier 2 and Tier 3 of the Innovation and Technology Support Programme (ITSP) is now open to application.

NSFC –European Commission Joint Research Programme |
|
|
|
|
According to a memorandum of cooperation between National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the European Commission, both sides will jointly fund research projects and support of the both countries to conduct substantive innovative research and cooperation. The programme will support Chinese researchers who have already acquired funding from ERC. The funding for Chinese applicants will not exceed 30.000 RMB.

Poland: UNESCO-Poland Co-Sponsored Fellowships Program 2016 |
|

|
With a view to promoting human resource capacities in the developing countries and to enhancing international understanding and friendship among nations and the people of Poland, the Polish National Commission for UNESCO and the UNESCO Chair for Science, Technology and Engineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow are placing at the disposal of UNESCO thirty-five (35) fellowships of six (6) months duration starting on 1st October 2016. The beneficiaries of these fellowships will be given the opportunity to undertake an individual research programme in the field of Science, Technology and Engineering.

NSFC – FWO Joint Research Programme |
|
|
|
|
In the frame of this new agreement, a first call for collaborative projects is launched in order to further promote scientific cooperation between Flanders and China. The new co-operation agreement replaces the old one with the result that the continuous application process is replaced by regular calls for submission. For the 2016 call the cooperation is limited to all fields of natural sciences and medical sciences in the following themes: mathematical & physical sciences, chemical sciences, life sciences, earth sciences, engineering & material sciences, information sciences, management sciences, health sciences. NSFC provides per project a fixed total amount of 100,000 RMB for the total duration of two years. FWO pays researcher(s) from China a daily living allowance of € 50 per day (or max. € 1300 per month) and reimburses in addition the accommodation costs.
